This here galvanized iron, it’s a real tough one, ain’t it? I heard folks talkin’ ’bout it, sayin’ it’s hard to come by in that Remnant game. Sounds like a right mess, but I reckon I can tell ya a thing or two about it. See, you gotta get all your stuff, your weapons and what-not, leveled up real good. They say you need it to be like level 15 for regular weapons, maybe 7 or 8 for them fancy boss weapons. Then that galvanized iron starts showin’ up more often, like them weeds in my garden.
Now, if your stuff ain’t leveled up enough, you ain’t gonna see much of that galvanized iron. It’s like tryin’ to grow tomatoes in the winter – just ain’t gonna happen. You might see some of that regular iron, or maybe that forged iron, but that galvanized stuff, that’s for the big shots, the ones with all the fancy gear.

And where do you find this stuff? Well, they say it starts poppin’ up all over the place once you get strong enough. But I hear tell, it only shows up if your level is between 9 and 15. Too high, and you’re outta luck! Like missin’ the last bus outta town. I reckon, there is some shop girl who sells it, but it takes time for her to get new stock. They also say it is no good if you use it for food, especially them sour ones. That’s what folks say.
But listen here, if you need that regular iron, you can just buy it from that scavenger fella in the Ward. He’s got plenty of that, I hear. But that galvanized stuff, that’s a whole different story.
Now, I remember back in my day, we didn’t have no fancy video games. We had to make our own fun. But this galvanized iron, it sounds like a real pain in the neck. You gotta grind and grind, just like churnin’ butter. And for what? Just to make your weapons a little bit stronger. Seems like a lot of work to me.
But I reckon folks like that sort of thing. Keeps ’em busy, I suppose. Me, I’d rather be sittin’ on my porch, watchin’ the world go by. But these young’uns, they’re always in a hurry. Gotta get that galvanized iron, gotta level up, gotta beat the big boss. It’s all go, go, go.
- First, get your stuff leveled up. I mean everything.
- Regular weapons to 15, boss weapons to 7 or 8, they say.
- Then that galvanized iron starts showin’ up.
- But only if your level is right, between 9 and 15.
- Too high, and you’re outta luck, like a chicken with its head cut off.
They say this galvanized iron is for upgradin’ your weapons. Makes ’em stronger, I guess. But it’s a lot of work, seems to me. Like tryin’ to teach a pig to sing. You can do it, maybe, but it ain’t easy.
And don’t even get me started on that forged iron. That’s another one that’s hard to find, they say. You gotta keep playin’ and playin’, hopin’ it’ll drop. Sounds like a waste of time to me. But what do I know? I’m just an old lady.
But I’ll tell ya this, if you’re gonna play that Remnant game, you better be prepared to work for that galvanized iron. It ain’t gonna just fall into your lap. You gotta earn it. Just like you gotta earn your keep in this world. Nothin’ comes easy, ‘cept maybe trouble.
And that Cass gal, she might sell that iron, but her shop only gets new stuff every 30 minutes, they say. So, you can wait around for that or try your luck elsewhere. It’s like waiting for rain in a drought.
So there you have it. That’s all I know about that galvanized iron in that Remnant game. It’s a tough one to get, but if you’re determined, I reckon you can find it. Just be prepared to put in the work. And remember what I said, nothin’ in this life comes easy, ‘cept maybe gettin’ old. And even that ain’t so easy sometimes!
This whole thing reminds me of when I was a girl, trying to find a four-leaf clover. You could spend all day lookin’, and maybe you’d find one, maybe you wouldn’t. This galvanized iron is kind of like that. A lot of work for somethin’ that might not even be worth it in the end. But hey, to each their own, I always say.
